Client contact details aren't shared upfront on Bark Marketplace — this is by design. Every enquiry comes from a client who has already seen your profile and chosen to contact you.
You can exchange contact details directly in the chat once you're in conversation with a client, to arrange next steps and finalise the hire. There's no need to share details until you're both ready to move forward.
Viewing a client's phone number
Some enquiries include a verified phone number you can view directly.
- Open the enquiry in your inbox.
- Look for the "View phone number" option in the conversation.
- Click it to reveal the client's number.
Not all clients share their number upfront. Some prefer to message first — if no number is shown, you can still exchange contact details in the chat once you're in conversation.
Calling a client through Bark
If you call a client through the platform, both numbers are masked with a Bark number. Neither of you sees the other's real number at any point during the call.
Can customers see my phone number or email address?
No. Your phone number and email address aren't shown publicly on your profile, and they aren't shared with customers by default.
Can I hide my contact details?
There's nothing to turn on; our details are already private by default. They're only shared if you choose to exchange them directly with a client in chat.
