When a client submits an enquiry on Bark Marketplace, they have the option to include their phone number. Bark verifies these numbers before making them available to professionals so when you see a phone number in your inbox, you can be confident it's genuine.
How it works
When a verified phone number is available, you'll see a View phone number option in the enquiry. Click it to reveal the client's contact details.
Not all clients choose to share their phone number upfront; some prefer to communicate through Bark messages initially. If no number is shown, you can still exchange contact details directly in the chat once you're in conversation.
Why it matters
Verified phone numbers mean fewer invalid contact details and higher quality connections with clients who are genuinely ready to hire.
